Hee, this morning while I was listening to the WBEZ pledge drive I swear I heard Steve Edwards thank "Mikael Jorgensen" for his first-time pledge. Just another reason he's my favorite member of Wilco.

Aside to [info]hobbitgrrl, were you at all considering going to the Cracker duo/unplugged show at Martyrs tomorrow night? I wasn't really planning on it, but if somebody else wanted to come with me...

Did you know MJ is playing at Hideout on 11/11? Just FYI...

Might you be going to this?

Now that I know about it, I'm seriously considering it. And you?

It seems highly likely that I shall be attending. I will try not to inundate you with knitting questions if I do go (I just started this week).

Well, let me know, if you do go, what time you're planning to arrive and all that. We could, like, meet or something. Also, I am happy to answer any and all knitting questions. You're not paying for knitting lessons, are you? I'd tutor you for free, no joke.

Hey, instead of going to Cracker, you could always come to the Double Door with me and Thomas.. ;)

Ooh, interesting proposition. When's the show and how much?

I think it starts at 10, and is $13. I don't know if you like Ben Lee at all, but I put some mp3s in my most recent entry, and he's much better live. very charismatic and all that.

I actually saw him open for TMBG last summer at Cornell...I don't remember too much except that the drunken college kids behind me made fun of him continuously during his set. Jerks.

Anyway, yeah, I'm up for it. When do you want to meet? I'll have the car, by the way, so I can come pick y'all up somewhere or whatever.

Okay, cool! Um.. let me think.. my flight (supposedly) gets in around 5 and we'll probably meet at his apartment and relax for an hour or so. Then we'll want to go out and get some food before the show, so maybe you'd like to meet us for that?

I won't have a definite idea of time/location specifics till tomorrow evening due to possible flight/train/etc. delays, so I will call you as soon as we know.

Food sounds good. I should be home all evening, so just call me whenever. See you tomorrow, yay!

Yay! You should see if Sara wants to come too, assuming she's not going to Cracker either. :P

Totally. I just sent her an email in case she hasn't seen our lengthy exchange here. See you soon! :D

Well, I would definitely go to some sort of concert, if I were to be in town. Unfortunately, I'm going to be in Ohio, so I can't make it. :(
