( 2 pics and a bit of explication about a girly little cardigan. ) I actually finished it a couple weeks ago but only put it in the mail today; but my niece's birthday isn't until the 10th, so theoretically it should still get there in time. I hope it fits; I hear she's very large for her age.
Anyway, ugh! what a week this is going to be. My students turned in three different assignments each today, and Friday's their midterm, which means tons of grading, which totally sucks. But TMBG on Saturday! I'm so looking forward to that.

As promised, here's a couple pictures of knitting (and one of crochet)—nothing fancy, just a few small things I've recently completed.
zimbra1006, if you don't want to know what your hat's going to look like, ( don't look here. )
How busy we've been! Rolled into Pittsburgh Monday night, hung out with
rynomatic and the next day helped
buridan shop for stuff for his new apartment. Then we put together a bunch of Scandinavian furniture and today I made seven coasters to protect the aforementioned furniture.
Also I finally uploaded the pictures of the Clapotis scarf I wrote about earlier. Finishing it off turned out to be something of an adventure. I mean, you might consider it an adventure if you think knitting is exciting. Which I do. ( On to photos of knitting. )
Thanks
cptmoll for suggesting this project! If I were allowed to buy a nicer yarn I'd make another one for a gift. And I was quite tempted today—I wanted some cotton yarn to make the coasters for
buridan so I went to what is apparently Pittsburgh's only yarn shop. It was small but they had some gorgeous yarns...however I was good and only came away with the yarn for ( these coasters, which I totally enjoyed making. ) Drink up,
buridan! And now you don't have to worry about ruining your table.
